Connect your AI agent
The feedback tool MCP server for your AI agent
The LotsTeam MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or another compatible agent to your feedback posts, task board, support inbox and changelog. Ask in plain words and the change lands in your workspace, where your team sees it in the dashboard. The agent signs in as you, so it can only do what your role allows.
MCP server URL
https://api.lots.team/mcpRemote MCP with OAuth: sign in with your LotsTeam account, no key to paste.
What your agent can do
It reads what users asked for, opens and updates tasks, drafts support replies and publishes the changelog. Ask in plain words:
“What did users ask for this week? Group it and open tasks for the top three.”
“Draft replies to every unanswered support message. I will review before you send.”
“We shipped dark mode. Write the changelog entry and publish it.”
“Log this request from my sales call as a post: exports to CSV, asked by Acme.”
“What is in progress on the board, and who is on each task?”
The whole loop
Posts, linked tasks, the public roadmap, support replies and the changelog, in one connection. It can also set up a project and its portal domain.
Your permissions, not more
Viewers read; members work in the projects they can open. Support replies go out only when you say so.
Every change in your dashboard
The agent and your team work on the same records. A comment the agent writes can carry its name, so nobody mistakes it for a person.
Set up your agent
Steps checked against each vendor's current help pages. The server URL is https://api.lots.team/mcp.
Claude
- Open Connectors. In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors. Select + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Add LotsTeam. Name it LotsTeam, paste the server URL and select Add.
https://api.lots.team/mcp
- Sign in. Select Connect, sign in with the email you use for LotsTeam and allow access. In a chat, turn LotsTeam on from the + menu under Connectors.
Team and Enterprise: an owner adds it once under Organization settings, then Connectors (Add, Custom, Web). Each member then selects Connect under Customize, then Connectors.
ChatGPT
- Turn on developer mode. ChatGPT Settings > Security and login (on Business, Enterprise or Edu: Settings > Apps > Advanced settings). On Business, only admins and owners can turn it on.
- Add LotsTeam. Go to Plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server. Name it LotsTeam, enter the server URL, choose OAuth, confirm the warning, then Create.
https://api.lots.team/mcp
- Install and ask. Install it and sign in with the email you use for LotsTeam, then in a new chat select it from + > More and ask.
Works on ChatGPT plans that support custom MCP servers (developer mode). OpenAI offers full MCP, read and write, on Business, Enterprise and Edu; other plans may be limited to read-only tools. Workspace admins can also add it under Workspace settings > Apps > Create.
Claude Code
- Add the server. In your terminal, run:
claude mcp add --transport http lots-team https://api.lots.team/mcp
- Sign in. Start Claude Code and run /mcp. Select lots-team, choose Authenticate and allow access in the browser.
Codex
- Add the server. In your terminal, run:
codex mcp add lots-team --url https://api.lots.team/mcp
- Sign in. Run this and finish in the browser:
codex mcp login lots-team
- Check it. Run codex mcp list, or /mcp inside Codex. The Codex app and IDE extension share the same setup.
Any MCP agent
- Add the server. Cursor and any agent that supports remote MCP over HTTP can connect. In Cursor, add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
{"mcpServers":{"lots-team":{"url":"https://api.lots.team/mcp"}}} - Sign in. The agent opens a LotsTeam sign-in the first time it connects.
Prefer to be walked through it? Paste this into your agent. It reads the LotsTeam guide and helps you connect.
Read https://lots.team/skill.md and help me connect LotsTeam.39 tools on the MCP server
The same records power the dashboard, MCP and REST, so your agent and your team always see the same thing. Your agent also gets get_profile, which reads your Lots account.

Questions
- Which AI agents work with LotsTeam?
- Any agent that supports remote MCP over HTTP with sign-in, including Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Integrations without MCP use the REST API.
- Do I paste an API key into my agent?
- No. The agent opens a LotsTeam sign-in and you allow access. It then acts as you, with your role's permissions.
- What can the agent not do?
- Inviting people, changing roles, billing and deleting a project stay in the dashboard. Everything else your role allows, the agent can do on request.
- Do I need an AI agent to use LotsTeam?
- No. The full dashboard runs the same workspace. The agent is another way to work in it, and every change it makes shows up in the dashboard.
- How much does LotsTeam cost?
- Plans start at $24 a month for 3 projects, or $9 per project a month from credits without a plan. Organizations and team members are unlimited. Every feature comes with every project. Current prices are on lots.team/pricing.
