Public roadmap
A public roadmap tool built from your real tasks
The LotsTeam public roadmap shows the tasks you choose in three columns: Planned, In Progress and Completed. Each card can carry a public summary and an estimated date. It reads from the same task board your team works on, so you update it from the AI agent you already use, and in the dashboard.
Ask your agent
Type it in the chat you already have open. The change lands in your workspace.
“Put the CSV export task on the public roadmap with a short public summary and a date in November.”
Turns on the roadmap, sets the public summary and estimated date
“Move dark mode to in progress.”
Updates the task; its card moves to In Progress
“Which roadmap tasks have no public summary yet?”
Reads the board and checks each roadmap task
“CSV export shipped. Mark it done and draft the changelog.”
Moves it to Completed and drafts the entry
Or work in the dashboard
The same records, with the full controls your team uses every day.
- 1
Open a task on the board and turn on Show on Public Roadmap.
- 2
Add a Public Summary to show readers instead of the internal description, and an estimated completion date if you want one shown.
- 3
Move the task through To do, In progress and Done. The roadmap shows it as Planned, In Progress or Completed.
The facts
- Three columns, matched to the task's status: Planned, In Progress and Completed.
- Only tasks you select appear. Everything else on the board stays with your team.
- Each card can show a public summary instead of the internal description, and an estimated completion date.
- Tasks link to the posts that asked for them. When the work ships, a linked changelog entry can email those people, off unless you turn it on.
- The roadmap sits on your project's public portal, which can run on your own domain. Internal projects have no public roadmap.
- Plans start at $24 a month for 3 projects, or $9 per project a month from credits without a plan. Organizations and team members are unlimited.
Questions
- Does my whole task board become public?
- No. Only tasks you mark Show on Public Roadmap appear, with the public summary if you set one. Check the summary before you share the page.
- Where does the roadmap live?
- On your project's public portal, next to Posts, Changelog and Contact. The portal can run on its own address or on your domain.
- Can my AI agent update the roadmap?
- Yes. It can add a task to the roadmap, set its public summary and estimated date, and move it between statuses, within your permissions.
- How do users ask for something that is not on the roadmap?
- They post on the feedback board or through the widget on your site. When you decide to build it, link the post to a task and add the task to the roadmap.
- How much does LotsTeam cost?
- Plans start at $24 a month for 3 projects, or $9 per project a month from credits without a plan. Organizations and team members are unlimited. Every feature comes with every project. Current prices are on lots.team/pricing.
